Joining LBSEAS
We are excited you're interested in joining our online community of engineers, architects, and scientists based in Long Beach, CA. Membership is free, but before you begin, please take a moment to review the mission of LBSEAS:
1. To provide a secure, moderated online forum for engineers, architects, and scientists who have a personal or professional connection to Long Beach, CA.
2. To provide access to diverse sets of expertise and professional opinions, and an opportunity to ensure that public decisions in the Long Beach region are made with the best set of data possible.
3. To contribute technical expertise, independent analysis, and scientific commentary on the challenging issues facing our community.
Because of the technical focus of our work, LBSEAS membership is not for everyone. But, we hope that if you feel you can contribute positively to our community then you'll decide to join us!
Benefits of memership also include your very own lbseas.org forwarding address, so you don't have to release your own email to the wide world (and your chance to finally impress everyone at work), access to our online forum, access to our searchable membership database, and of course the opportunity to contribute to our online content through research, projects, or articles you may be involved with.
Those of you who are interested in our work here but not an engineer, architect, or scientists yourself are encouraged to sign up for our mailing list (which is open to everyone), and please avail yourself of the information and resources throughout the site.
